About

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2007. I was 41 years old at the time and believed I could just take some pills and not worry about anything else. Obviously, I was very much mistaken.

My wife and I had our first child in 2011 when I was 45 and our second in 2014 when I was the young age of 48. I changed my ways some, but still not enough. As my boys have gotten older they are very active and they want daddy to be active with them.

We are now a baseball family that ties up most of our free time, and we wouldn’t change that for the world. They love it and we love it. The friends we have made have been life changing.

While I am fairly active I still need to bet better, lose more weight, and become a healthy older dad and husband. I decided to create this blog to not only motivate me, but hopefully help other people out as well.

I hope you enjoy this creation and continue to come back and see what has been added. Please send comments of what you like, didn’t like or would like to see.
